See you next year, Mom!

For the last time in 2021 my mom and I are about to say, “see ya soon.” I am so thankful for the time my mom spent with Nathan, PQ and I this Christmas season. I am so thankful for all the time I had with my mom this year. There are few people on earth who know me and who I can laugh with like my mom. There are few people who know how to correct me like my mom.

While I love my mom unconditionally, I have no problem sharing my mom with Christian women who need a strong woman of faith like my mom. I love that God has brought some young women into my mom’s life this year. I am thankful for the friends that God has given my mom in FL.

I am genuinely thankful for all the love and support y’all have shown me and my family this year!

Father God, thank You for the gift of family, whether by physical birth or by spiritual rebirth. Thank You and praise You Lord that You do NOT call us to do life alone! Lord God, thank You for our salvation which allows me and my mom to enjoy You now but even more so in eternity. Thank You for all my saved brothers and sisters whom I will one day be with in heaven singing, worshiping and serving You. Lord God, I pray for this reader who is need of community that You will send a believer into their life to minister to them. Lord God, help us to seek mentors and to be mentors to others in this new year. Help us to continue building Your Kingdom in 2022. Lord God, thank you for this reader. Lord, fill this reader with the Peace of Your Presence. In Jesus’s Name I pray. Amen.

  1. Beautiful! My mom was saved in her late 80’s and she witnessed to my father. Amazing grace! She went to be with the Lord in 2007. One of the last things I said to her before she died was “we will see each other again.” It’s so sweet to hear how much you appreciate your mom Mandy. Some don’t until their gone.

  2. Two back to back post! Going to read this! Concerning our discussion on my blog: I have seen Woke Preacher Clips on Youtube and twitter share about Grove City going woke; to be honest with you I felt they probably went woke for sometime now among some profs; when I was in community college a Cru staff member from Grove City was also into SJW stuff and wanted to break up our big group that Nancy’s brother and I led into ethnic groups; it was also imposed in a way that I felt was disrespectful to minorities and I lead the group to break away from CRU. But that lady who graduated from Grove City was also telling minorities they were oppressed.

    1. I don’t know if you will see this before Study but I was wondering if you would allow me like 2 minutes to share with the youth on chapter 5? I have something I want to show y’all that I “made” and I did this for my former small group and it really impacted them and I think the youth my resonate with it as well!!! If that’s ok?!?!
