On my way!

For the first time in I don’t know how long, there was NO airport security line! While it is 47f in St Pete, FL as I type this, that sounds a whole lot better than the 25F in Lancaster, PA!

God willing, I will be with my mom today until early Thursday morning and then I will fly from Tampa to LA to visit with friends until next Monday. I am SO excited and appreciative to God for this opportunity! I am thankful that my dad and another friend will hangout with PQ while Nathan is at work! I am thankful for Nathan for supporting me in visiting my mom and our friends in SOCAL (Lord, please let it be warm there!!!).

Thank you dear reader for adventuring with me. We were never meant to travel on this Jesus road alone. I have never in my life thought I would make such great connections with folks through this blog. Please know that I love you and that it’s a joy and an honor to pray for you.

Lord God, thank You for this opportunity! Lord God, thank You for this reader! Lord God, take this reader on an adventure in Your Word. Lord God, may this reader read Acts and all the journeys that Paul went on. Or may they read Exodus and journey with Israel through the Red Sea or journey in Numbers through the wilderness. Lord God, may we all adventure through the Psalms feeling the grief, joy and hope of the psalmists. Lord, praise You that in Revelation You bless Your people who read it. May we live in confidence knowing that the road for those who are in Christ is leading us to victory regardless of what happens in this life.

Thank You and praise You Lord for this reader. May they be encouraged by who You are and how You work. May this reader embrace their journey with You knowing that without You life makes NO sense. In Jesus’s Name I pray. Amen.

As a “Blue Collar Theologian,” I strive to meet people right where they are (“Incarnational Theology”). I graduated in May 2019 from Capital Seminary and Graduate School with a Master's in Biblical Studies. I am a passionate, excited and enthusiastic person! I love flowers, sports and sunsets. 1. Oh, how I’ve tried to get more of my friends to read Revelation (Apocalypse of Jesus Christ) based on 1:3’s blessing. Yet the complaints are still that it’s too confusing, subject to many different interpretations, etc.

    Enjoy your visits!

      1. I am all for Ash now, good for you/home crowd!! I wasn’t sure if you would be a Kyrios gal! My mom roots for him, it used to drive me crazy. I said to her once, “if Chad (my brother) or I acted like Nick, you would have dragged us off the court!!!” My mom had ZERO tolerance for sport theatrics and anger. I do like nick, just sometimes he needs to be quiet and play. In the States we say, “put up or shut up” (hope that’s not offensive!). Matteo is a good player, I would root for him if he wasn’t playing Monfils! I hope I am awake for some of the Rafa match! I 🧡🧡🧡you so much!!! You are my spirit sister!!!

      2. I am with you on Kyrios, he is talented but behaviour is embarrassing 😳. I would not want my son to behave that way. Put up or shut up – absolutely.
Love you too my spirit sis 🤗

      1. How are you doing today?! Thank you guys so much for this opportunity!!! As much as I am a less is more person, when it comes to travel I am a more is more in regards to clothing! NO worries!! I know how to fold REALLY small so I don’t have a lot of bags or anything like that!!! I have an overhead bag and an under the seat backpack. I wanted to bring stuff for kiddos but hopefully y’all will let me get them some mementos in our travels!! Again, thank you for allowing me this opportunity!!! My mom will say “hi” to y’all over FaceTime! Last night she didn’t feel like getting presentable! I said, “mom, look at my hair!!!” Whatever night works for y’all I would like to take y’all out for a nice steak dinner and one night I would like to get us duck! If possible, just cause you mentioned it before, would we be allowed to go to the in and out burger place? We do not have such a place in PA!! Ok, I will stop talking, I don’t want y’all to disinvite me!!!

  5. Mandy, may everything you pray for your readers come to you, as well. Have a wonderful trip. May your feet be shod with the preparation of the gospel peace. May you go where the Lord wants you to go, encounter the people He wants you to encounter, and speak the words He wants you to speak. Stand firm in the Gospel of peace, even as you are resting in the peace of the gospel. ❤️
PS Tell us about it when you get back. I especially want to hear about who sat next to you on the plane, and how the conversation went. 😉

    1. Thank you, Annie!!!! There was an older gentlemen who I met on the flight down to FL. He was born in Germany but his family is all Ukrainian and he shared his heart about current events. He identifies as catholic, I shared about my blog and that I am going back to seminary. He wasn’t interested in hearing too much about that!!!! His name is jerry and I will pray for his salvation!!!! I will be honest, it’s always a conflict. I love reading God’s Word on airplanes but I also know sometimes people need someone to listen to them!! I was able to read and listen on this flight. Only God knows who I will meet tomorrow on my almost 6 hour flight!!! Love and blessings!!!!!!!
