Last October when we were here, the leaves were not as colorful as this year. I am humbled and amazed by how the Triune God colors His world!
I am so glad for this weekend get away. Nathan is praying for bass! I am praying to enjoy this time out in God’s creation, fishing and taking pictures. (I did bring school work with me as well.)
Dear reader, regardless of where you live, I hope you will take a moment to enjoy God’s creation.
Lord God, thank You for Your magnificent color. I am humbled and amazed by how You reveal Yourself to us through nature. Lord, thank You for Your Word. It is through Your Word that we learn salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone. Lord, thank You for this reader. In Jesus’s Name I pray. Amen.

I love this time of the year! Even here in Texas we get a bit of changed/changing colors.
That’s a beautiful album cover, Craig!!!! It is a beautiful time of year for sure!!!! I had my midterm today, so glad for our conversation on John 2, it was really helpful/beneficial!!!! 🤗🤗🤗
That heat situation sounds like Nathan and I!!!! That is BEAUTIFUL country!!!! Nathan is from out that way and I know he misses it!!! The Rocky Mountains are truly magnificent. I am more of a UK and East coast USA geography I like moors/rolling hills!!!!
Jo grew up right at the very least she it Dartmoor, in Devon, so that was regular walking country for her as she could step out her door and straight in to it
Doing great, thanks! I just picked up a new client so lots of work to do. I was thinking I would throttle back a little (semi-retire) but I guess not yet.
Hi, David! I liked the red tree as well!!! I am sorry to hear the leaves turn brown and fall off, that is sad!!! There are LOTS of yellow leaves where I live, some red and least of all orange. Where we are at right now has lots of orange. Psalm 19 is one of my favorites, for sure!!! Thank you so much for taking time to comment, David!!!
The pictures look beautiful. Enjoy your weekend. It is spring here for us and we are enjoying sunnier days and the bloom of flowers. And thank you for the reminder to take moments and enjoy God’s creation and to be thankful.
Bless you my sister 💙
I am usually not one to click lot of photos. I enjoy being in the moment and forget to take photos. The maximum number of photos I take is of my dog Buzzbe 🐶. Maybe I should take some when I am out and about ☺️
I didn’t know if you took pictures of your garden!!! Buzzbe is adorable!!!!!!! Enjoy being in the moment!!! I can get to focused on taking pictures I don’t savory the beauty in front of me!
Your beautiful pictures of God’s beautiful creation have literally given me goosebumps. Praise God for His beautiful bounty! Praise God for you, dear Mandy! ❤
Thank you, Linda!!! I am amazed and humbled that God cares for us more than birds, trees, mountains, how can we not love and obey Him in response?!?! I am SO thankful for you Mama Linda!!!!
Life continues to be hard, but a friend wisely reminded me to focus on all the good going on. How are you? I’m glad you and Nathan were able to get away!
That is wise counsel! I hear my mom all the time saying, “whatever’s right, pure, true think about these things.” We need to find time to chat and pray! Love you, Colleen!!!! 🤗🤗🤗
Mandy, for someone who only sees green vegetation and no vegetation off screen, I do appreciate seeing colored leaves like a fire tree. I really like what you wrote. Indeed, GOD colors our life in His time, it is better than what we want for ourselves, and all for His Glory. Blessings to you, Nathan, and your parents! Did you both catch the bass? 🐳🐋🐬🦈🦭
Hi, Kent!!!! So far, no fish!!!! However in a few short hours we will set out again!!!! I thought of you yesterday when I was taking pictures and that depending on what psalms you are using, I have some nice nature pictures. I hope you had a GREAT birthday!!!!!!!
Mandy, I pray that you both will catch a big memorable fish, bass or not. 🦈🐬 Thank you in advance Mandy! I appreciate your photos and grateful to GOD for these pictures that you have taken. The Psalms series is a long one and mostly (if not all) are sceneries, nature, and less to no human. Thank you so much! We ate a roasted piglet/cochinillo yesterday.
Thank you for sharing that!!!! Are you a pumpkin spice fan?! I love fall scents and tastes from pumpkin to apple to the cooler temps but outside fires, yes it is a beautiful and magnificent time of the year!!! Love you, Beth! I appreciate your love for Jesus and positivity and encouragement to others!!!
We have had this getaway planned for months! I had a midterm due today and I was like ya know what, I’ll take it early! I didn’t study as much as I would have preferred but being out here is good for my spirit! Love you friend!!!
Wow been behind on blog reading and just saw this! But answering your question earlier on your blog: I think your comment was nuanced! I never tell people to stop taking pills for their mental illness and have rebuked guys that have told people in our church to stop taking meds. I do mean rebuke, since it puts people in danger.
Aw yes! You should see my little balcony blooming with spring flowers. Every time I see God’s creation I think of the greatness and beauty of our God.
Love you Mandy.
💜🍃🙏
I would love to see pictures if you took any! Nathan called me a leaf peeper, I had never heard that term I thought he was a weirdo who made it up and now you have used it so that makes me the weirdo!!!!
That’s too funny about Nathan and the leaf peeping comment! Yes, it’s actually a thing. Lol. I do have pictures, I’ll text them to you. They’re not as beautiful as yours though. 🤗
Our little space we call home seems to also be showing-casing more long-lasting, vibrant colors this year as well!! God blesses us through His creativity in nature.😀❤️🙏
I’ll post some pics this week..your comment inspired me to go take pictures around town of the fall leaves, I think last week they looked a little more vibrant but nevertheless they’re still pretty!!

I’m reminded of this album cover

Turned a little warmer here…we lit our log fire the other day and, well, let’s just say we didn’t need it lol
Had to open the doors to cool the room
We have some pretty colours over here, but nothing like you have in the US
We’ve a friend in Montana who sent us some photos of the forests near her….my word would I love to see it in person!
Thanks Mandy

Beautiful pictures, but being here in Central Florida, I have to ask: What’s autumn?

All of creation is autographed by our Father in Heaven. It says, somewhere in the psalms, “The heavens are telling the glory of God.”
Yet there are professional nature lovers – like rock climbers – who claim to be atheist?! David say, “whaaaat!”
I love the picture of the red tree. Where I live the leaves turn brown and fall off.
God bless!
