March 2023 Prayer

Lord God, thank You for this new month. Lord God, teach us to live more for You this month. Father God, guard Your people this month from attacks from wolves who seek to destroy our testimony.

Father God, as natural disasters are affecting millions, we are trusting You Lord to sustain and provide for Your people. Lord God, may we desire to share Jesus with our lost neighbors, friends, coworkers, family members more this month.

Lord God, help us to trust You and Your Sovereignty. May we trust Your Kingship more than our own earthly political systems. Nations are coming against nations and we know Lord these things will happen when Jesus’s return is coming near. Come Lord Jesus!

Lord God, thank You for this reader. May this reader trust You more and seek Your face more this month. In Jesus’s Name I pray. Amen.

      1. Awww…I’m sorry to hear that! Grad school is no joke! It’s definitely a full time job! Doing well here, but the time is going toooooo fast! I’m glad we’re friends too! Who knew blogging would make that possible? I’m thankful for God’s creative ways. 🙏

    1. I am enjoying my studies!!! This Ancient Church class (100-600) is fascinating. I have taken similar classes like the ones I am in now; however, I am learning far more details. I know you’re a history guy so you make like Pelikan’s church history volume 1 on the time period of 100-600.

  1. “…may we desire to share Jesus with our lost neighbors, friends, coworkers, family members more this month.” Yes, amen, may the Lord kindle our hearts with that desire and open our eyes to His opportunities to share.

  2. I wonder how many times a day I come across that word “trust” …surely God is making a point and yet so often I do the opposite in worry.

Joining you in prayer and praying He’d grow our trust all the while.

  3. Great prayer! The prayer for the weather is timely. I think your prayers helped with our travels.
Answering your question: we arrived at our location! Last day we had some rough rain and wind but it could have been worst and I think it’s the power of prayers that makes the difference

  6. Hmmm … somehow this one got past me. Better late than never huh? 😊

I am praying with you. This is so important. “Lord God, help us to trust You and Your Sovereignty. May we trust Your Kingship more than our own earthly political systems. Nations are coming against nations and we know Lord these things will happen when Jesus’s return is coming near. Come Lord Jesus!”

    Blessings my friend.

  7. Answering your question: I love JOhn Frame! Wished he was read at WTS; but sometimes I think new profs don’t want to read Bahnsen and Frame for the sake of reading new profs and others?

      1. When you are done with it I do want to ask you more what you think; I’m down for a soft copy if it doesn’t cost you! New Job is good, second day on job done, we will see the rest of the week when PW is back from his trip what a normal week is like…
