This is the second year I have had this cherry tree, and it is WAY more white this year (not sure the pictures do it justice!). I cannot help but to praise God that He has taken our sin and made us white as snow. Praise God there will be a day, that all our sin, suffering and toil will be no more. Praise God that the blood of Christ makes us clean and whole. While Good Friday was costly to the Triune God, so thankful for the gift of salvation that Jesus has provided for us.
Lord God, thank You for the gift of salvation that is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Lord God, thank You that no sin is beyond Your capability to forgive. Lord God, thank You for Jesus. Thank You Jesus for Your work on the Cross. Lord God, draw this reader closer to You. Thank You Lord for this reader. In Jesus’s Name I pray. Amen.

What a beautiful wee tree Mandy, and yes it reminds me of the old hymn “Are You Washed In The Blood?” I praise God that I am, Hallelujah!
The cherry 🍒 tree is beautiful. I can see a lot of cherry pies coming from that one. We had one next to our house growing up and we would get on the roof and pick away. 😀
The post is excellent. True love on display from the Trinity. We are blessed now in Him and throughout eternity!
Amen, Craig!!! I am so thankful forgiveness and white as snow is seen in both the OT (Isa 1:18-20) and NT. I pray to never forget what Jesus has done for me!!!! Thank you for this comment!!!
Beautiful! Love this: “Praise God that the blood of Christ makes us clean and whole. While Good Friday was costly to the Triune God, so thankful for the gift of salvation that Jesus has provided for us.”
A cherry tree. Mandy, I have not touched a cherry tree but I ate cherries either fresh(ly packed) or on a cake, mixed in the fruit salad, and the good old ice cream. Taking cue from your edifying, concise, and effective Good Friday (I would say, Salvation Friday) message, the Triune GOD’s gift of salvation is like a cherry tree in this example. One can’t grasp it (physically while on earth) but one can experience bits and bits of it, all by GOD the FATHER’s grace in CHRIST JESUS. Blessings to you, Nathan, your mom, and your extended family!
What a beautiful response, Kent!!!!! I am so thankful for our salvation! I am so thankful that what we know in part now we will someday know more fully. Praise Jesus there will be a day when we see Him in His beauty and glory and we will be glad forever!!!! I hope you have a wonderful Easter with your family!!!!
Beautiful, Mandy. The tree speaks volumes of the love of God that washes away our sin! May many eyes be opened to our LORD’s salvation this Eastertide, by Gods wondrous grace.
You inspired me to turn our text into a post. Your heart to sing praises to our Triune God in the midst of everything humbles me and inspires me. Much love, hugs and blessings!!!!
Beautiful trees Mandy. Ours are white as well…snow. Love the whiter than snow reference. I think I am ready for those white apple blossoms. Have a great Easter.
Same to you and your family, Gary! I am thankful for you!!! I can imagine that you are ready for spring!!! We were out fishing today. Never fails when Nathan has off work it is cold and windy but good to be out anyway!!!
A beautiful tree in a beautiful yard, Mandy. I am grateful, as well, that God washes us from our sins-white as snow. A blessed Easter (resurrection Sunday) to you and yours!
Thanks for the thoughts and photos, Manday. Yes, praise God that the blood of Christ cleanses us from all sin!
That’s a beautiful blossoming cherry tree in your yard. We had a big cherry tree in our backyard growing up and in mid to late June I would sit in its branches and eat cherries until I couldn’t eat anymore.
Me too! Things are going well here, just lots going on! And it’s just going to by our small family for Easter this year, which is fine. What are your plans?
What a beautiful tree and such a reminder as you point out of the cleansing power in the blood of Jesus. I am so so very thankful and humbled by the sacrifice that God gave for us and the love he has for us.
Looks like a very healthy tree! When it starts producing fruit, make sure you box up some of those cherries and send them to Arizona! I do love the analogy between washed as white as snow and that beautiful white tree.❤️
What a beautiful tree, such a time to enjoy and take in the beauty of His creation through nature. I love Spring with it’s reminder of freshness all around. So thankful our faith through Jesus’ work and love on the cross and our belief in Him gives us the opportunity of a fresh start…nothing to be taken for granted.
Blessings sweet Mandy!!

Lovely landscape!
Through His blood shed (Acts 20:28) on this day, we are made white as snow. Let us all never forget Jesus’ sacrifice–every day!
